Hi ive only been using revit for the last year or so Ive got an Acer aspire core 2 due intel centrino, with a graphics media accelerator x3100 (laptop), Im having trouble modelling with revit, when in 3d the lines become broken and just a mess, its happen with other VBIM packages, just wondering if anyone knows if my spec is no good or if there is any way around making it work. Thanks Steven

I would need to know more about the specific graphics card, also the GHz of your processor and how much RAM you have. (most of these are available through system properties). Once you post this i can let you know how your lappy will stack up against what Revit wants/needs.

Hi thanks for the reply, i found the info, I have 1.00 GB RAM, with Intel (R) core (TM) 2 Duo CPU T700 @ 2.00 GHZ 2 GHZ. The graphics card is a mobile Intel GM965 chipset with integrated 3d graphics, featuring intel graphics media accelerator (GMA) X3100 with up to 358 mb of intel. Dynamic video memory technology 8mb up to 350mb shared system memory and direct x9. I hope that helps it also talks about a ATI mobility Radeon hd 2300 with 869/1024mb Thanks
