so we have a project for the renovation of a schools exterior and though we have the model created we are not sure how to construct the exterior. has anyone ever attempted this type of exterior sytem? Right now we are trying a exterior wall with reveals. the problem is we can only add in colored filled regions in the elevations to represent the different colored panels. theother option I thought of was to create a curtain wall with different colored exterior finishes on same wall types. but we want to find the appropriate and correct way to do this. all opinions are welcome. thanks in advance guys.

I would use one wall type for the brick portion and another single wall type for the upper area (except the black).  This appears to be an eifs/stucco wwall with different finish areas.  The horizontal and vertical reveals are the right wal to go here and you can split the face of the eifs exterior walls and "pour" on the finish you need in the different areas.

I can't see very well the wall but if the wall is straight i think i use "Reveals" to divide the panels and then use the "Split face" and "Paint" to assign different Materials/Colors to the panels....

Hi Pauly,

I am doing the exact same thing for a building of mine.

Did you find the method below worked well or would you change anything?

Were there any pitfalls?
