hey guys, is there any known way of bringing in a sketchup model of say a landscaping layout into revit???

Import it into a mass, but beware of the nuber of faces in the sketchup model.

You might consider doinig this in a seperate Revit file then link that file into your project.

jonezy,  search the forums using sketchup ... this has been answered many times.
