Revit arc. 2009

I was asked to do an irregular patterned stucco with the blocks in three colors.  I say it can't be done, after trying nearly everything. The pattern is easy enough, now, how in the world can it be made three colors???

This is a wall surface pattern.  The blocks are three different colors.

This will be tedious but it will work. Create your three types of stucco in your material editor, then use the splitface tool to create your desired pattern (it will allow you to sketch your pattern on the wall surface); you'll have to sktech each individual "box" or if your really feel like going for the gold you can sketch all of one color in one sketch and anothe roclor in another sketch, etc. Then use the paint tool and paint the pattern as required using the three stucco types your created previously.

Good luck... and have patience!

You could create transparent hatch patterns with invisible lines that match your wall pattern.  Group them and array them to match your pattern and adjust at the edges if required.  I have used a simple block pattern to demonstrate, but you could quite easily do this for your pattern.

If you need to render this you can create a map using a sample of the stone layout and adjust the colours in Photoshop.
