A problem crops up with each new release that all the great families one has created or downloaded are stored in the imperial library of the previous release of revit resulting in loss or searching for files. I imagine there must be a file utility (like filezilla) that one could just drag and drop the old imperial library folder onto the new release's imperial library folder if that file utility would then ask "copy only if newer?" Does anyone know of such a utility? Or any other strategy for porting over all the previous release's files into the imperial library? Filezilla seems to only work copying files from local computer to internet remote site.

Because of this problem, we have chosen not to store any new or modified files within the REVIT directory. Now all we have to do is to upgrade our files.
