Hi all, I'm trying to model a sump in revit architecture 09 for an internal box gutter (novice at this end of the revit) I started off using the new>family>metric plumbing fixture which primarily worked, however i couldn't get the sump to cut (i.e create an opening in) my box gutter - so it was only visibly in the roof plan if i set it to sit above the gutter. By the way, my box gutter is a roof hosted profile much like the standard revit gutters. So then i tried 'generic model face based' hoping to use the 'opening' tool, but it was greyed out... So now I'm perplexed. perhaps there are some fundamentals I'm missing here? Furthermore, when i try to use some symbolic lines diagonally across - they don't want to stay attached to the corners of the sump when i change the size of the sump. I've attached my .rfa file in case anyone wants to have a look and advise. Thanks in advance.
