I'm using MEP 2009 and am adding stairs in a residential project. By default, the program calculates for a maximum riser of 7" which is perfect for commerical but can be increased for residential. Can I change the default of 7" or manipualte another way? thanks! Suzque

Create a new stair type duplicating the stair type you want then modify your stairs "Type" parameter for the maximum riser height...
