Hi, I'm a new user, just learning and can't seem to find info on how add a simple addition formula in a schedule. I've asked my instructors and they don't know. Can anyone help me?

REVIT's Help there are several usefult topics:

Valid Formula Syntax and Abbreviations

Selecting Fields for a Schedule - In this topic - create a field whose value is calculated from a formula click Calculated Value. Enter a name for the field, set its type, and enter the formula for it using existing fields in the schedule.

For example, if you want to calculate an occupancy load based on the area of a room, you could add a custom field called Occupancy Load that is calculated from the Area field. Formulas support the same mathematical functions as in the Family Editor. For more information on creating formulas, see Using Formulas for Numerical Parameters.
