Hello,

ive just started using revit last week so very very new to this and well i've made a beam system but cant seem to change the "start level offset/ End level offset" as it seems to be grayed out in element properties, is there a way to get around this or will i have to do it the slow way and do every beam on its own? as i would like to lower the beams by -183 but cant seem to chane it.

will post screenshot if this makes sense Puh also im using Revit structure 2009, not sure if that matters?

thanks for any help/tips! Smile

Tom.

try just checking the 3D box. if it doesn't do what you want then you have to unpin every beam/joist and change it to the elevation you want. if you pin them again i believe it wiil go back to the previous elevation.

waht i've done is unpin them and rigth click and click on detach from plane and that has worked for me.

hope this helps
