Using Revit 2009. I am using split faces to represent patterned areas on precast concrete wall panels - which is all very well until I need to change the appearance of the split face boundary. Using the linework tool - besides being tedious as I can only select the lines individually (tab does not select all connected lines) - works until I try to make the boundary lines invisible. Once 1 bounday line is changed to invisible, the applied finish also becomes invisible while the remaining boundary lines stay visible. What controls the appearance of split face boundaries and is there a quick way of controlling this? I can change all the boundary lines (individually) to a light gray to become indistinguishable from the pattern representation at the required scales.
