REVIT 2009 Typically, our door schedules don't fit on one full size (24x36) sheet and when they are placed on a sheet, the the remaining portion of the door schedule that doesn't fit causes Revit to print everything beyond the border of the sheet. How do you get the portion of the door schedule that doesn't fit on the sheet to hide so that it doesn't affect the printing of the sheet? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Duplicate your door schedule and use a filter to separate the doors by floors or door numbers or other convenient parameter.

I understand that the schedule can be split. And we also understand the use of filtering. However the real issue is comes with a door schdule with multiple filtering needs. Because of the door naming convention, we've already used 3 of the filtering fields. For example, we have Corridor doors that occur on all floors (C1000), Headhouse Doors that occur on only one floor (H1xxx), standard doors (1000,2000,3000, & 4000),and Research Doors (R1000). We have used these designations so that these would group the way we want them to on the schedule. Is there anyway to add additional filtering rows? If so then maybe this would work for removing the portion of the schedule we don't want to see. Thanks in advance for any response.

looks like your going to have to add some additional shared parameters to your door families that you can use to filter your schedules by.

Instead of filtering for the door number - just use 1 shared parameter to your doors to filter "CONTAINS". Call it - Schedule - Then put a value ... 1-2-3 or A-B-C whatever to filter for. Doors to show in all schedules could have all values A-B-C - otherwise just the schedule they will show in.
