I am doing interior renderings in r2009 with interior cabinets, some created in place families and +/- 30 lights, several windows.  They take 10 hours to render at best quality 150dpi print resolution.  Is that about right?    I thougth the new rending engine was faster.  Just wondering.  They look nice, at any rate.

It depends on your computer, but with so many lights this does seem reasonable.

Hi SteveB, are you sure you need that quantity of lights just for one interior scene???. Try to determine that, so you can turn off the lights you aren't really using in order to decrease your render time....but in case you have to use them all, I think that 10 hours with best quality is a "normal" render time....
