Our firm would like to drop the pat files from Acad into Revit 2008. Is there a folder we can drop them into where Revit will recognize those hatch patterns by default in the fill patterns setting? I know you can import pat files into fill patterns manually and name them but it would be nice to have all our standard ones already in the template. It would make sense to me Revit is reading the default pat files from somewhere so we should be able to drop our pat files into the same folder for it to load them.

Unfortunately I don't know of any way other than manually to transfer your pat files into Revit. Its the scale of the files that tends to be the issue. If anyone does know of a faster way, I'd love to be wrong, but so far, finding someone in your office that is quick with a mouse and that can stand the repetitiveness of the task is your best bet.
