hey guys im having a serious problem with my model... i have an external existing wall which has a rendder system on it but this sis being removed and a new one added, but im having a problem joining the new to existing and then getting my proposed windows to cut both walls!! anyone come across this before ill post a sketch when i get into work in the morning to help explain my predicament... cheers # J

Unless the modelling detail of the render system requires framing elements (in which case you will be no doubt be better served by using a curtain wall type) surely you can just edit the compound layers of your existing wall type to reflect the new system's materials?
