Is it possible to have a parameter in a family look at the view scale for part of a formula? Here is an example of what I want to do. The formula that I want is the "View Scale" x 3/16". Obviously the view scale isn't accepted in the formula box. Can this be done? I want a reference line to move closer to the wall based on scale. 4 1/2" at 1/8", 2 1/4" at 1/4", etc.

No. Sorry but you can add a parameter that you fill in.

Not that I know of, and believe me I tried. I wanted it so I could use annotation for lights so they didn't resize with the scale. I'm curious why you're wanting to use it.
