When I cancel a command, it does not mean I want to deselect the set that i spent 5 minutes making. Either (pleeease) add the ability to enter selection sets into memory (a'la Photoshop) or simply have a two level (optional) cancel, once for the command and once more for the selection set. Thanks.

Right click in the view and choose "Select Previous"?

If I select a set of objects to move, then accidentally click the Copy Command Button instead, hitting escape drops my selection, and select previous only works with objects that have had a command completed with them. I appreciate the suggestion, though. Thanks.

You're right, it doesn't really help. What's weird though is that if you select an object and then just click somewhere else to deselect it, "Select Previous" works as it should even though select/deselect is not really a command. Erratic behaviour, to say the least.
