I have been trying to create a mass which is somewhat like the attached image. This will be a part of a ceiling. If someone can suggest me that will be great. Thanks in advance. Sigma

You can extrude this or create it with a sweep.

creating a new mass is easier than having to match a profile that exist. if the profile exist and its a cieling, you will have to go in section perp to that profile, create a mass using the reference plane that is par and then extrude it as deep as you need to. you can adjust with the arrows once it is created.

Thanks to you all. I have created a new mass profile and could not see it because my show mass button was not turned on. I was not doing revit for a while and I have forgotten few tricks! It's good as we are helping each other through this platform and I am glad to be part of it. I just love REVIT...... Sigma

I am in trouble. This mass is transparent. I tried to change the material in the "property element" but it is not changing! Folks, do you know how to do it? I need to give it a solid colour finish. Sigma

First, you need to check the mass subcategory in the mass property, then go to the object style in the setting and change the right mass subcategory's material. Then click OK. I think it works. You can try.

As goodnightren says you can change this in the settings. It would have been better to create this in the ceiling category rather than as a mass.
