im trying to come up with an easy way to put details for specifications in sections for my wall finishes and floor finishes etc. i thought maybe if i created a tag where i have it show the description it wld work. but my problem is that it wont let me tag anything besides my furniture and columns or beams. i created it as a multi category tag. any ideas? im specifying wall finishes for every space (its a large 4 storey bldg) and i want to be able to just click on the wall and tag it and have it just tag the finish. is it possible? also can i put room tags in sections?

im not to sure about specific tags as wall, ceiling, furniture are only specific to each family. I have used keynotes in the past to call up particular finishes. This is the easiest as you can give the keynote specific parameters that can be scheduled bu using the note block function.
