Basic question about Revit 9 drafting: Is there an easy way to divide lines into a specified number of equal segments, as one would with the Divide command in AutoCAD? Thanks!

It can be done in a round about way. Draw the line the overall length and then draw lines perpendicular how ever many spaces you need. Next place a single dim string across all the lines and toggle the EQ for the string. This should adjust all of the perpendicular line to equal spaces. you will then use the split tool to break up the original line.

How do you toggle the dimensions into equality? When I try to do that, Revit adjusts the length of the line, not the lengths of the dimensions. Thanks

Sorry to be so long getting back to this. Thanks very much for the help. My dimension snaps seem to work a little differently than yours... have not done much with Revit dimensions yet, as I'm using it more as a modeling tool right now. Don't quite follow how you got that initial EP snap on the horizontal line, but was able to make the technique work.
