I have my interior elevation sheets layed out and need to turn the furniture off/on depending on the purpose (furniture off for the main CD's, but on for the FF&E). I know in AutoCAD I could simply turn the layer off; does is there a way to quickly turn the furntiure off for all interior elevation views? I know how to use VG to turn it of view by view (soo tedious). Thanks for the help.

Create a view template for each condition - you can then apply these to multiple views.

you could use a view template, select all views in the broswer that you want it apllied to, right-click and apply the template

I would take this one step furthur than what coreed says. After you right click on the single or multiple views, assign the template you want to these views. Do this with all your views (other than special single type of views) so that when you need to print, you can multiple select all the sheets in your project and choose "apply default view template". Then all of your vies will be correct for printing no matter who may have been working on them. Any view not assigned a view template will not be affected by this.

I see the choice to "Apply Default View Template to All Views", however, I do not know how to set the default view template. This is a great tip, and I would appreciate the steps on how to set it.

Do what I said .... select your views - then right click and under properties you will find the parameter "default view template" ... when you click on that, there will be a pull down on the right where you can select the template you want to assign
