I have cut a section through the building and hid all the floors permenantly. I then went to the light bulb to reveal the hidden elemnts but several of the floors didn't show up. I have checked the model view and plans and confirmed that the flloors are still there but I still can't get them all to show in the section.

Dopes anyone know wht the problem could be?

First, this is not a REVIT problem. 

In the section view, do you have floors on in VG?

Are you using worksets or phases or design options?  If so, check the properties of the missing floors in plan and make sure your section view is set accordingly in VG.

Are you sure the floor is really there?  Click on the floor in plan and verify it is at the level you think it is.

There are 7 floors in the building and only the top 3 are showing in the section, I cut a section box in a 3D view simialr to the section I am working on and all the floors appear. Ihave also checked the properties of the floors and they all have the same properties.

 Is ther any way the reveal hidden elements button wont show everything?

No... reveal hidden elements will show everything hidden if, IF, IF they are not hidden by view graphics... VG  - phases - Workset ... or if they are just plain not in the view.

Post an image of the properties of a floor that does show and a floor that doesn't.  Make sure none are in a design option.
