I am attempting to export a .rvt file to .stl file for 3D Printing for the first time. The architectural families export fine but the topography is absent in viewing the .stl file. I was told by the 3D printing company that the most likely reason is that Revit may be creating the topo as a landscape oblect (surface) vs architectural componants (solid). Is there any way to convert the topo within Revit Architecture 2009 so that it will export as a solid to .stl file for 3D printing?
