Hi All,

When I print a drawing/sheet that was originally created in REVIT Architecture 2008 and then saved in 2009, I get a print spool error and only half the sheet prints.  I don't have any print spool problems with a drawing/sheet I created in REVIT 2009.  Is this error occuring in the REVIT software or the HP 5500 Plotter Printer drivers?

What do I need to do to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Rick

Did you try using other printer? Did you try "Audit" or/and "Purge" the file?? Are you using "Vector Processing or Raster Processing"????

Good Morning,

Thanks for the responses.  I've been using the automatic printer settings.  When I print anything I've created in REVIT 2009 there are no problems.  When I try to print something I created in REVIT 2008 and then save as a 2009 file, I get the spool error everytime.  What print settings should I then manually input?  Vector?  or Raster?

Thanks again !

Rick

I'm not sure if this issue has been solved or not but I'm having the same problem.  I have tried everything.  The only thing I can think of is maybe its a Vista issue.  I have tried to print pdf and changed the vector/raster settings.  My plotter is a HP Designjet 430 and it can hold up to 4MB of memory and the pdf file isnt even a meg.  I also think that the HP driver might not support Vista.  If there is anyone out that can help please let me know.  This is the only issue I have had making the change from AutoCad to Revit.  We do alot of printing in house but this issue is causing me to send my prints to a printing company even for one page or two and that isnt helping.  I just printed a pdf file without shadows in greyscale with some grey shading for some flex ducts and it spit out half the page and then decided to print the other half.  It has to be some driver issue.  Thanks in advance.

Josh
