Hi,I needed to create a beam family that carries accross a span, then notches down 4 inches for a cantilevered deck. I set all of the parameters and flexed in family editor and everything worked fine. When I save and load into project, I select the beam from familiies, drag into the drawing and I get the dreaded circle/slash no can do sign. What did I miss? See attachment.Thank You,Phil

It looks like this family was created using a generic model - floor based family. I was able to place it if there was a floor to host it. I would remake a clean family using the structural framing category, that way it's a two pick family. HTH -Brett
