I can sweep a profile but i just want to do a simple extrude of of a profile loaded. I want to set the elevation on one end, set the elevation of the other end and extrude. right now I have to sketch in the end of each profile. I just want to use my loaded profile.

It is a simple shape I am extruding over and over again in the project but have to keep resketching it. It is the shape for a mass. for all intesive perposes let say it is the shape of a aquared U that I want extruded from 0mm in elev at one point and 1000mm at one end for the other 7000mm long.

Why don't you use a sweep rather than an extrusion? If you are doing it multiple times rather create it as a family and have a height parameter.

because with a sweep the ends are perpendicular to the sweep angle. I want the ends to stay perpendicualr to the level (staright up) not perp to the andgle of the sweep.

Yeah, put some images to figured what do really want.... there are some limitations about the constructions of "Free Forms" in relation of other programs like Max or Rhino, i hope and i wish in the next version of Revit they include in the "Swept Blend" the Path work in the 3 axis (X,Y and Z) at the same time and we can include 3 profiles agains the 2 we have now, some times it's better to create this kind of forms in other programs and then import like a ACIS nurb to Revit and apply by face what do we want.....
