I have a site survey with contour lines shown in 3D at the correct heights.
I import this into revit to use as the basis for generating topo planes, which works fine. However, when I import the 3D CAD file to match both files ORIGIN, I find the imported 3D contours are no longer at the correct height.
I have to work out at what Z value the imported dwg file is imported at, and then adjust this in the properties.
Any idea of how to get an autocad 3d file to align the z axis at 0?
Thanks!

When importing an AutoCAD file you have the choice to set which level you wish to import the file into. Make sure the level your importing into is 0.
