Is there an easy way to create a curse hip in a roof?

What is a curse hip???

I have never heard of a curse hip. I have heard of a hip with different slopes on each side being referred to as a curse hip - is this perhaps what you are referring to? If so , in roof edit mode select the slope defining roof sketch line and give it the required angle.
