I went thru the same process that I used for adjusting the text size of the level identification?

Opened up the the a section head file from the materials library

saved as something else

made necessary changes

loaded into project.

I don't get the new option in the "section tag" drop down box that's found in the "Element Properties", "type properties",  dialogue box.   

Is it the same process?

-Adjust the Section Head and Section Tail families 

-Then go to Manage --> Settings --> Section Tags

-Duplicate Type (make custom name).  For the Section Head and Section Tail pulldown, select the head/tail families you edited and saved.  Apply. Ok. Ok.

-Then in your drawing, click on the tag that is too big, and go to Element Properties.

-Click 'Edit Type'.  Duplicate or not) and select your custom Section Tag type from the 'Section Tag' pull down.
