Hello all. I've recently descovered the ability to export projects to DWFX format, at first this seamed very promising, I find the revit environment very good for presenting projectd IE. cropping 3d models to reveal the inner workings of the project jumping to sections etc however this can requier alot of machine power, very inconvieniet while presenting your work live, what i found in the DWFX format is a light weight solution to this problem virtually possible on the weakest of machines, however I was disapointed to find out that I can either export individual 2d sheets (much like creating a PDF book) or 3D data as a single model. What I'd like is to export my entire project to an environment where I could quickly jump betwin 2d and 3d elements of the presentation without having to burn my CPU.

I apologize for the longwindedness.

Please shed some light

Export your 3d dwf's and 2d dwf's then open one or the other.  Now, with your vieport tiled so that you can see your other files, simply drag and drop them into your open dwf....  you can also drag and drop excell and word files ... others too probably like jpg's....

Try it!!!!

get an hp 8710 with 4 gb ram...it has a nvidea 1500m...its a mobile workstation. if you want one a little cheaper the hp 9440 is the exact same just older model...beisdes taking your model to a dwf defeats the purpose of bim...no i...
