I am making some inplace counter tops but I cannot figure out how to make them the same "material" as families in the library.  I cannot see the base cabinets and the counters are a different color than the ones from the library.

Any advice?

Thank you,

AAron

Go back into edit mode and apply the material there.

Edit the cabinet family & find out what they are there.

I have deconstructed the counter top and tried to make mine just like it. I still cannot see through the masking region.  How do they make it so you can see cabinets under the masking region anyway?

Add a "material and finish" parameter in the edit mode. Why are you making an in place counter top anyway? I would just make a family. Just my two cents.
