Did you print from a sheet where you had the view activated? That will cause the view window to be screened. You should not be printing from an design option. Control what DO prints through your VG settings.

Iam not sure what i have. I was looking at the design option not knowing what they are and now when I select a design option button everything but annotations turns grey in every view. It prints that way too. I have tryed every one and the only thing I can select is the annotations. I will attach a pdf of one of the sheets maybe that will help. The one named sweeper is the way it used to be. 2ndphase2 is the greyed out one. Thank you for all your help. I can not tell you guys/gals how many times you have saved my butt. I know that if I have a question all I have to do is go to RevitCity.

When you are in a design option edit mode, only the model elements that exist in that design option will be solid. Everthing else will be ghosted. As I said, don't print from here. You have to exit the DO edit mode. Get to the design option edit window and finish editing. Now, everything should be black. Did you add any modei elements while in a design option?

I don't think so. When I get out of edit mode. evry thing turns black again. It still prints grey. I looked to see where i can change the VG all I found was the design options tab with the selection for auto or a sub option. Maybe Im missing it. I have them set to auto like the other threads tell you to. Is there another option somewhere. Thanks Larry

Did you try the previous suggestion and deactivate the viewport?

I looked at your pdf's - nothing appears to be ghosted. PDF's are typically strange if anything is skewed off x/y axis. Print it and it will probably look ok.
