This is suprisingly easy to achieve. Edit your stair and delete the straight boundaries (green lines) and draw new ones using the boundary line in the sketch tools. Delete straight risers and redraw the curved ones using the riser line tool. Make sure all the lines meet up. Finish the sketch and - curved stair complete.

Thanks tim123. Got the stairs curved no problems. See attached again not sure what to call this part as its not really a handrail nor is it stairs. I thought maybe to make it like a slab but then it is not sloping with the stairs. Or would the slope arrow tool work?

Do you mean the side walls shown in the previous image? I would do these as walls and delete the handrail.

Oops I meant to attach this picture and also the stairs. I guess you could call it a side wall. How would you get the wall to curve up at the very end to connect to the porch? This is in 2008. Thanks, Raina Mc

How do you do a void cut in a wall? I don't see that option. I am still new at this.

Ok here is what i have. Thanks TyphoonI followed the steps "Moddeling-Create" use "Wall" category then "Void" - extrusion.... which I am sure works but I am doing something wrong. How can I get it to slope, like the picture Tim123 posted? Are there any tutorials or other information out there that might help me to understand this function of Revit? Or can someone give me a step by step? Thanks again, RainaMc

Typhoon, See attached it works. Thank you so much for the video very much appreciated. Only one more thing is there a way to show the brick on top where the void extrusion is? Thanks again for all the help, RainaMc
