Hi Just want to say what a great site this is and have picked up some great tips already. Started using Revit in November after 3 days training aand have to say i love the program and im hooked. I have used ArchiCAD but revit beats this hands down in my opinion,no contest!! I attach a PDF file of my first real project in Revit which is not completely finished but gives you an idea of what i have done to date. Please feel free to say if things are wrong etc as im a newbie and would appreciate any feedback on what i have done to date.

Hi armour35, let me tell you that being your first experience working with Revit, your drawings are very very nice and as Typhoon says, you can render your perspectives and upload them...and welcome to the Revit world...

Armour35 - like you i am a newbie too although judging by your attachde file, you have really got the measure of it a bit better than me/ I think your plans are very well done. I receently attended a 2-day course but judging from your drawings, I missed out some valuable sections as i have been struggling woith a couple of things you have created in yours!!! So, be proud of your progress and i look forward to seeing the finished render in the gallery!

Many thanks all. The training was good but to be honest this site has helped me out on a few things, for example creating the gable walls with water tabling.I just used a roof by profile to create the stone on top of this and it worked well but others may have an easier way of doing it but that was the quickest way i could think of. Talso i think my use of ArchiCAD has also give me a head start as i could 3D model with that program and also i am very good with sketchup but Revit is so addictive and miles and miles better than Archicad even though i love my macs. I am running revit on my Imac and mac book pro with parallels and it runs really good.
