made model group with tub.

can't figure out how to get the group imported resulting in a visible tub.

trying to make the host wall part of the group results in the following error message.  "host element can't be added to the group"  tub remains invisible.

inserting group next to drawn wall results in group insertion with tub as part of the group but invisible.

Hi, i don't get it, you create a "Group" with some objects, then you edit the group and "Add" a new element to that group (tub) and when you insert that group in the project (model) you have that error "Host element...", that's correct??? an image paint more than 1000 words...

i'll try to clarify.

i had a model group with a vanity, toilet and one hosted element, (in this case a tub).  when i inserted the the group, the tub wouldn't show upon insertion.  It was still part of the group because when i select the group all of the elements (toilet, vanity, tub) highlight, when i desect the group the tub is invisible.  When I ungrouped it the toilet is invisible.

i just revisited the problem, now it works fine.  not sure what I might have done differently??

Sounds like it may have at one point been excluded from the group and when you revisted it, it was no longer excluded...
