Revit wont seem to allow me to click on a sloped slab edge to sweep a metal angle edge onto it. I have no issues with flat slabs, and even the flat faces of a sloped slab - but the sloped faces of the sloped slab wont snap to. Any workarounds available?

a screenshot of the situation would be handy, but try making it with a roof or ramp.

I ended up figuring it out. It seems to be a glitch. If I delete the slope temporarily and then do the sweep it works. Then I can add the slope back in and the sweep follows the slope of the slab. Basically - you have to create the slab, sweep it, and then go back and add in the slope line. Kinda dumb.

Thanks everyone -- it also seems to not like to run a sweep along a floor edge if there is a plan region anywhere in the floor plan. Very odd, so I copied the floor over by 200 feet, edited the boundary, deleted the slope arrow (after writing down the information), ran the floor edge profile, put a new slope arrow in, deleted the other floor, and put the new floor back. Of course, if you have things attached to this floor, it will get all mixed up. What a pain!

I know this is old but a note to add. If the floor edge is a curve and has a slope, the slab edge will be deleted either way. This is the dumbest programming oversight. Revit, I expected more out of you.

Hi, had this issue too (with a floor) and thought I solved it (the way you said), however when I re-sloped the floor the curved slab edges disappeared.

the only way u can solve this is to use segmented sketch line instead of an arc (in your FLOOR sketch).
but sometimes it will still give u bad results.

Thanks. That's a good idea.
I just notice this thread is about 6 years old. I didn't even realise Revit was that old. I would think AutoDesk would have fixed this by now. Anyway Thanks for your help.
