Please be more descriptive. Do you want 2d plans and elevations - 3D - What ? You can make it do it all but what do you really need?

I am looking for a 3D retractable seating. Are there any parameters which can help me make this folding? The idea is to create views in closed and open position. One option is to model two different seating and switch on or off as required in view but it would be great if i can make the intelligent family. Hope it clears.. Cheers

You can have two types in one family... one open - one closed. Another option - two different sets of families in one family & have a switch to turn them on - off. Another option - have one family for each & both placed but in different phases. Another option - have one family in one category placed in a different family that is a different category - then use VG to switch them... this is harder to do & I don't think I like it. You can also use a design option & have a different family in each option.....

Start by Reading REVIT's help. I also suggest you get the tutorial book that comes with Revit if you ask your dealer. There are probably some tutorials here in the links. Design options are a nice tool but they can be a little complicated.
