I have another simple query...... I want to place a model of a building on a photo do I a/ somehow add a background and then render the model with the background already there or b/ render the model, save it and then open it in something like photoshop to merge the model with the preferred background image?? if an image can be added in Revit, how do you do this?? thanks

depends on a lot, post the view you want to render and the photo's you have then i will tell you which way i think is best, no one way is always the best.

erland 73 what can I say but thanks..... i am new to the forum and still quite new to Revit. But already I see the generousity and value in the revit community... so thank you. No doubt I will be back soon wth more "easy to answer" problems for you more experienceds users! Regards
