I need to have a continuous footing at the bottom of a thickened slab edge.  Is there anyway to add a cont. footing without the use of a wall?  Or maybe another way that i can accomplish this.  Thanks

I have this same issue as well! It won't let me move the footing to below the thickened slab edge.

make another sweep in the shape you want, use the 3d view to pick the edge you want it to run. make it a component model...as a foundation.

Most people place a concrete foundation wall and join that with the slab.  The wall footing will work under that.  If you need to, just make the wall very short.

I also have a "stacked wall" defined, where the footing is like a 16" wide wall, only 8" hi, and another 8" wide variable height stem wall on top of that. lets you make "T" footings anywhere with the wall tool.
