Is there a way to display the contours as "steps" in the 3d or elevation views? We have been modeling the topo for our custom home sites as floors so that we can display them similar to a scale model where each contour is flat & steps at each adjacent contour to create a terraced effect. It is quite cumbersome to model each site that way but I have not been able to find any other way to get the site stepped.

there is a great post on AUGI, search for "I HATE PADS" basicly using spliting and grading to achieve topo, without using pads. This could work very well for terraces

Thanks but what I am trying to achieve is a way to generate a topo using the REVIT toposurface command but then displaying it stair-stepped instead of mesh style. See attached file. This is what our topo needs to look like. This was made using Create>Floors & then we pick each topo line individually & set each height. As you can imagine, it is a bit time consuming to do it this way...which is why I have posted this thread.
