I downloaded 2005 VS express C# and I am trying to do the hello world app from the SDK and the DevTV tutorial.

The dll gets loaded and I can select the external command from the pulldown menu, but I don't see the message box pop up.

I can tell Revit found the dll because I can not recompile the dll as revit has it and rebuilding requires deleting the current version

and copying in the new build.

Is it because I am using the express version?

any help is appreciated.

If I should post this somewhere else please let me know
