Several months ago, I went into a finished project and "turned off" the room tags to produce a clean plan. Now, I need to go turn them back on again and I can't find how I did it. In the Visibility Graphics, room tag is still checked. I checked for "hidden items" and they aren't shown as hidden. I tried to tag a room and it tells me that they don't appear in this view and to check the settings. I know it is something simple that I have blanked out on, so any help would be apprecited.

Under visibility graphic overrides, rooms are checked under model categories and room tags are checked under annotation categories. Is there somewhere else to turn rooms or room tags on or off?

Did you try placing a tag ... perhaps you deleted them. If you can place one, then they are on!

Yea, I tried that. I get the "this thing is not visible in this view, check your settings you stupid slug" error message. That is a paraphrase of course.

If rooms and room tags are on in VG and you have not hidden them in view then you must have used something else...really hard to keep guessing at our end. There is something yet that you have not told us. How about an image of the VP for this view? Make sure we see it all ... probably two shots....

Did you check rooms in both annotation and model catagories in the visibility graphics window?

Try making another level and see if you can add a random room tag to that. If it works then its a view properties setting if not its some sort of project setting. If it does get added then you should be able to setup a view template from the new level and copy it to the other views.

Are you using phases? If so, what phase was your room created in?
