Okay now my custom stairs are drawn ..Do I save them as a family and load them into the project Iam working on..If so how do I load them (under stair properties,under componant,?) Or how do I load the new stairs into my project period. And everything the custom rails everything show up.

Stairs are a system family and you can modify their makeup but they are created in the model. If you created a special family that doesn't use the system, just load and place it as you would any element. If you changed the definitions of the system family, you can copy clip from one project to another.
