I have created a Ref Plane for my roof slope and obviously I now want the roof beams to node into the columns, however it will not select these points has anyone else had these problems and how do I select the correct point?

Not enough information to answer your question. Revit architecture 2008, 2009, Structure? Types of columns/beams? What does the ref plane have to do with your question? Is this an extruded roof?

As the forum suggests it is Revit Structure, version 2009. The Ref plane sets the top of my roof slope (i.e. top of steel) the construction is fully steel.
