could some one help with a step-by step approach to setting up a plot file in revit

When you print your sheets or views, you select your printer, and set your view up for printing as you would normally. Then click on print to file, you will get a window to show were the file will be saved. The default for Revit is a .prn file, you can change it to PLT. After that you are ready to go.
