hi all, i am working on revit structure 2009 and i am facing this strange problem while working with isolated foundations. as example : i have created a footing F1-1500x1500x500 and i have placed it at several places as required. now i need to create F2-1500x1650x500 for other columns. the moment i create and place F2 in the building, from the foundation schedule the type marks F1 & F2 vanishes and numbers of footings also vanishes. it considers F1 & F2 as same as the first dimension 1500 is common for both.this happens always when the width of two foundations are identical. am i going wrong somewhere ...please help me out thanks asit

Edit the family and duplicate it. giving it a new name. An instance property apllies to only that one, but a type property will apply to all of those unless you create a new one.
