We're experiencing vanishing issues in Revit Architecture 2009.

We have a linked CAD file as the overall background plan of a building and are wanting to use callouts to create Enlarged Plans of individual areas.  When we do so, the link doesn't appear in the callout view.  We've checked visibility settings to make sure the background is set to visible.  I'm new to links management, so this may be a simple issue, but it's causing us some production problems!

We'd appreciate the help if anybody has any ideas! Smile

The CAD file needs to be inmported with the'Current View Only' box unchecked.  The part of the CAD plan should then appear in the callout.

I did that (cool, it worked), but now only text is visible in the call out (no CAD link walls/doors/etc.)... checked visibility graphics and everything still seams to be on.  What am I missing?

 Thanks!

Does the CAD drawing contain xrefs?  If these are overlaid and not attached then they wont come through to your Revit project.  Also check that any xrefs that may have been bound in are not blocks as this often causes display problems.  Explode the block if this is the case.

Fixed!!!  Thanks for your help TIM123!

I just had to make sure my callouts were PLAN callouts.  I knew it was going to be something silly like that!
