I want to have a wall with white wood siding panels on the exterior of a house, but when I use Thermal_Moisture.Roofing_Siding Panels.Wood.Vertical.White.jpg as material, it is just grey when I render, and not seems like a siding panel. Sometimes when I render it also comes up with a error messages about the bump file, witch is by the way the same file I think, this error message doesn't allways appear. In the render material preview, the wall looks like it is supposed to. Anyone know what is wrong? I am new to Revit.

In your material, like you can see in your image from textures, you have the "Sample Size" in the Render appearance to control the space those vertical lines (panels), you also has the "Brightness" to change the bright of the color...

I would just keep playing with the color because I know when I'm trying to get a certain color with the materials when rendering they sometimes come out way different when they are rendered because of the lighting. Edited on: Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 11:48:32 AM
