hey gang, recently weve had an issue come up where several of our projects are showing the ceiling plan of the plans we are trying to underlay rather than the plan itself. or put another way, when we underlay the floorplan, we get floorplan-ceiling plan as an underlay instead. and its the same for all the levels. any ideas? thanks in advance!

no, its set to 'plan' and the view range of all views has been to their default associations

no, but while that does get rid of the ceiling, yes, it doesnt change the fact what is underlaying is the ceiling plan rather than the plan. and in areas where the wall structure above sut plane is different is than at floor level, this will not fix. also, this same 'glitch' is occuring in all views, so its not just ceilings that are showing in all cases. for example (and i know this is something that would only be done to test an instance like this), underlaying the site plan below the floor plan shows the roof, rather than the site. we got a note into autodesk on it, and ill update here if they come up with anything. in the meantime, any other guesses? this is the first time ive ever seen this particulat issue

I know this post is a year and a half old...but was there ever a solution discovered? I have this problem occasionally too. View ranges are all set to defaults. When I try to underlay the first floor in a basement view I am getting the second floor ceiling as an underlay.
