I have a beam inside a wall which I can't get to show up because the wall is overriding it. Revit won't let me cut, join, or unjoin geometry, either. Solutions?

me too having the same issue, but an year back when i was working with revit 08 it was working fine........i don’t know why it is not able to merge with wall??????????

I'm not having any issues here. Have you checked Settings-->Family Category & Parameters for unusual settings?
