I am creating a multistory apartment complex in revit architecture. I am having a problem viewing my walls on the first floor because of the view range. For some odd reason it will not let me select the first floor as an associated level. It has foundation level as an associated level, but not the first floor. My instructor is a "revit guru" and cannot figure it out. Does anyone know what may be the problem? I am in dire need of reconciling this problem. Thanks.

And what about "Underlay" and "Discipline", can you put some screenshots to your view Elevations??? like in images attached...

I figured it out. It actually wasn't the underlay, I ended up just going to View/New/Floor, and selected the first floor plan. This gave me the associated level i was looking for in the view range. I think the problem was that i had copied the foundation plan, renamed it as the first floor, and worked from there. Doing that automatically associated the view range with the foundation plan.

However, because i could not see my walls in the first floor plan i started on the second floor(which is identical to the first). Now i am trying to copy the wall layout of the 2nd to the 1st by using the copy to/paste from clipboard command. Iam able to do this and line up everything on the 1st floor respectively, but when i am done and i try to escape out of the paste command i get a "serious error" and my walls immediately disappear from the 1st floor view.

When i copy 2nd floor walls to the 1st does it retain the same constraints as it had on the 2nd? I wonder what the problem could be...
